Stubbs BBQ Chicken Wraps
The Inspiration:
In our house there is only one BBQ sauce worth talking about. Meet the man, the legend, the most delicious-tasting BBQ sauce (we think) in existence--Stubbs! My husband thinks this man has a face that says, "you're damn right," and I totally agree.
I have always, always done the grocery shopping in the household, because 99.9999% of the time I'm the one doing the cooking. Shortly after our daughter was born, I sent my husband out into the great unknown (i.e. the grocery store) with a very detailed list of what we needed. Long story short, I didn't specify BBQ sauce, and assumed he would buy a $2.99 generic bottle of BBQ sauce. He came home with a bottle of Stubbs. My post-delivery hormone-crazy brain was not happy about his choice to buy a new brand of BBQ sauce I had never heard of. Let me tell you--it was the best mistake ever! We ate so much of this BBQ sauce, and I sent him back to the store for more! The mouthwatering taste of Stubbs is not only nostalgic for my family and I, but also incredibly delicious.
I created this wrap recipe as a dedication to Stubbs BBQ Sauce. It is the perfect dinner, and makes wonderful leftovers. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
